Biggin Street, Dover
Nestled prominently along Dover’s bustling high street, right next to the prominent St. Mary’s Church, you’ll find an impressive mixed-use building spanning an expansive 12,513 square feet.
The Dover council approached Rehoboth Property to assist with their regeneration plans as RPG are known as experts in the space. RPG saw a multitude of appealing features in Dover, from its connectivity and stunning White Cliffs to its seafront and rich history.
The high street has been somewhat neglected, and the community deserves a fresh and innovative approach to revitalise a town with immense potential. RPG saw the potential to make a significant social impact and purchased 138-141 Biggin Street to begin that journey.
Biggin Street serves as the perfect blueprint for a tech hub that will revitalise the high street. The ecosystem is poised to serve as a dynamic nucleus for local small businesses and enterprising individuals, providing an ideal environment for collaboration, fostering valuable mentorship opportunities and making impact in the town of Dover.
On the ground floor, an inviting communal area will be accessible not only to the council but also to the general public, complemented by a welcoming café facility, enhancing the overall appeal and utility of this remarkable structure.
Rehoboth canvassed the businesses and residents and determined that the community was in need of a co-working tech hub in order to retain local talent and grow small businesses, which in turn would stimulate economic growth. This endeavour seamlessly aligns with the council’s overarching vision for the comprehensive regeneration of the area.
